The Infant Toddler Children’s Center
Acton, Massachusetts
The Infant Toddler Children’s Center (ITC) was founded in 1981 as the first program in the area designed specifically for infant and toddler child care. Since then ITC has expanded to include preschool and school-age programs.
ITC is located in a new facility designed to meet the needs of young children. The 3.5-acre site, surrounded by trees, provides playgrounds for every age group, opportunities to explore the natural environment, indoor recreation rooms, and warm welcoming classrooms.
ITC is an educational, nonprofit corporation licensed by the Office of Child Care Services of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Center is also accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs, a division of the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
A professional staff provides full- and part-day early care and education programs. All of the teachers have training in Early Childhood Education and/or Child Development. All have exceptional personal qualities essential for responding sensitively to young children and their families.
ITC is governed by a Board of Trustees made up of parents, alumnae/parents, administration, staff and community representatives.
