Thanking the Moon by Grace Lin

The full moon is beautiful on crisp fall nights.  This lovely story is about how a family celebrates the Moon Festival.  Although many Chinese and other Asian peoples celebrate this in September or October, it is a good story to read anytime in the fall.  Watching a beautiful full moon on a dark night is a magic that all children can enjoy any time.
