Owl Moon by Jane Yolen

This is a wonderful book to read this time of year. February is mating season for owls.  In fact, the  February  February full moon is called the Owl Moon.   The story Owl Moon by Jane Yolen, is about a boy and his “pa” going out at night in hopes of finding a great horned owl.  After reading this book, you might want to try finding an owl sleeping high in a tree top or list for owl calls.
