Enjoying the Outdoors in Winter

This is a very good time to find bird nests. You may be surprised to discover previously hidden nests close to your house.

Hang a birdfeeder. Birds and other animals will appreciate it and you and your child can enjoy watching their antics.

If we get snow, get out and look for tracks. It is fun to follow tracks and observe an animal’s territory and habits.

Enjoy the outdoors with your child. You both will benefit.
